Tangled Up in Bob: Mick Davis Sings Dylan General

8:00 PM| JR Smallwood Arts and Culture Centre - Airport Blvd

"In my house, Dylan was dubbed, 'His Bobness'. My father & his brothers all strummed guitars with harmonica and yoke at hand. Bob's unique voice helped me to find a voice of my own at a time when I wasn't confident in my own vocal abilities.

And his songwriting opens all possibilities." - Mick Davis And so, the decorated Rocker -armed with guitar and harmonica- offers up an intimate evening of Dylan's career spanning hits, from the 60's peace anthem "Blowin' In The Wind" and the psychedelic "Mr. Tambourine Man" to the romantic yearnings of "Sweetheart Like You" and "Make You Feel My love".

Mick Davis is a Canadian singer-songwriter and founder of The Novaks. A twenty-five year veteran of performing, record-making, and touring, Mick's music trek boasts of alliances with Steve Van Zandt and opening dates with KISS. Mick is the recipient of numerous MusicNL and ECMA awards. He lives in St. John's, NL.
